The AGPCNP page wants a nurse practitioner or physician from internal medicine, primary care, express care or long-term care; a clinical nurse specialist or physician assistant qualifies only once faculty approve.

The catalog's AGPCNP setting list names internal medicine and family practice offices, managed care offices, emergency departments, long-term care and occupational health. The FNP list overlaps and adds ambulatory and specialty clinics and academic health settings. For NURS 61292, an adult primary care office with a steady flow of visits is the setting the course title points to.

Two agency rules decide whether a site can actually be used. Practicum hours only count where the College of Nursing already has an affiliation agreement in force, and if none exists, the college negotiates one with the facility itself. Kent State publishes no lead time, so name a new site early (affiliation agreements).
